\nThe signed agreement establishes beachhead to broadly market and distribute Tru Niagen\u00ae to Mainland China\u2019s aging population<\/i>\n<\/p>\n

LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–$CDXC<\/a> #NAD<\/a>–ChromaDex Corp. (NASDAQ:CDXC) (\u201cthe Company\u201d) a global bioscience company dedicated to healthy aging, today announced it has entered into an agreement (the \u201cJV Agreement\u201d) to establish a joint venture through its wholly owned subsidiary ChromaDex Asia Limited (the \u201cJV\u201d or \u201cChromaDex Asia\u201d). Upon establishment of the JV, membership of ChromaDex Asia will collectively consist of the Company; Crystal Lake Developments Limited; Pioneer Idea Holdings Limited; and Hong Kong Taikuk (China) Group Limited. ChromaDex Asia is expected to assume the distribution agreement noted in a previous announced press release<\/a> with Sinopharm Xingsha (\u201cSinopharm\u201d) as it relates to the commercialization of Tru Niagen\u00ae in mainland China and its territories, excluding Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan (the \u201cTerritory\u201d). The JV\u2019s entry into a distribution agreement will be contingent upon Sinopharm successfully attaining health food product registration for Tru Niagen\u00ae with the People\u2019s Republic of China\u2019s State Administration for Market Regulation (\u201cSAMR\u201d). SAMR is the regulatory body responsible for health food registration. Health food registration is a key regulatory step required to be able to broadly market and distribute Tru Niagen\u00ae products in China. Formation of the joint venture is subject to customary closing conditions.\n<\/p>\n
