\nNew York State\u2019s largest pediatric trauma center given high marks by US News & World Report<\/i>\n<\/p>\n

NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Cohen Children\u2019s Medical Center<\/a> has been rated the No. 1 children\u2019s hospital on Long Island \u2013 and recognized as second in New York State, sixth in the mid-Atlantic region \u2013 while earning top 40 national rankings for exceptional care in nine pediatric specialties, according to US News & World Report<\/i>\u2019s 2022-2023 Best Children\u2019s Hospitals.\n<\/p>\n

\nUS News<\/i> has ranked Cohen Children\u2019s among the nation\u2019s top pediatric hospitals for the 16th consecutive year. The Northwell Health children\u2019s hospital, the largest provider of pediatric health services in the state, also serves as New York\u2019s largest Level 1 pediatric trauma center and a primary destination for emergency care.\n<\/p>\n

\nCohen Children\u2019s achieved top 30 national rankings in six disciplines: Neurology\/neurosurgery as well as pediatric urology each ranked 20th, followed by orthopedics (22nd), Neonatology (24th), diabetes\/endocrinology (27th) and nephrology (tied for 27th).\n<\/p>\n
