\nWorkshop Dates in July-November 2022\n<\/p>\n

PLEASANTON, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–There are openings for participants in evidenced based, equine guided workshops exploring how activities with horses benefit people with dementia along with their care partners. The workshops are offered by Connected Horse, a nonprofit organization working with local barns and therapeutic equine centers.\n<\/p>\n

\nWorkshop Details<\/span><\/b>\n<\/p>\n

\nInitial research conducted at UC Davis highlights the benefits of this type of work, including improved quality of sleep and reduction in feelings of depression, anxiety and burden. The program is now being offered in other barns and therapeutic centers.\n<\/p>\n

\nWHO<\/b>: We are inviting people with a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairments or early-stage dementia and their primary care partners to participate in four workshops scheduled:\n<\/p>\n
