\nEssential industry resource for CIOs and IT leaders names eClinical Solutions as a Sample Vendor in three categories<\/i>\n<\/p>\n

BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–eClinical Solutions<\/a>, a global provider of digital clinical software and services, today announced it has been named as a 2022 Gartner\u00ae Hype Cycle for Life Science Clinical Development Sample Vendor in three categories including Clinical Data Analytics Platforms, Risk-Based and Centralized Monitoring, and Clinical Trial Resource Management. Gartner Hype Cycles provide a graphic representation of the maturity and adoption of technologies and applications, and how they are potentially relevant to solving real business problems and exploiting new opportunities.\n<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

\nAccording to Gartner, \u201cThis Hype Cycle explores innovative technologies that are specifically relevant to life science clinical development programs in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics, medical device, research institution and contract research sectors.\u201d Further mentioning to, \u201cUse the information in this Hype Cycle to identify technologies that have the potential to deliver the value CIOs, IT leaders and business professionals in life sciences demand while evaluating the risks associated with those innovations.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\nAccording to Gartner, \u201cclinical data analytics platforms bring modern data and analytics approaches to clinical trial data processes, expanding on existing clinical data repository solutions and data science laboratories by integrating them under a modern logical data warehouse architecture.\u201d Furthermore, Gartner reports that in today\u2019s life science market \u201cthe current lack of data and analytics technology and process maturity makes clinical data analytics platforms important. These solutions can harmonize the intake of data from the myriad of clinical trial sources and present data from separate systems as a single source. With the upward trend of more complex trial types, these solutions assist in eliminating data silos, supporting trial builds, normalizing metadata and enabling integrated insights generation during trial conduct.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\neClinical Solutions was also recognized in the risk-based and centralized monitoring (RBM) category, also known as risk-based quality management (RBQM). Gartner states that \u201cby centralizing trial data and using RBM techniques, monitoring activities performed during on-site visits, such as source data verification (SDV), can be optimized.\u201d Further mentioning that, \u201cRBM improves site monitoring over the legacy practice where quality checks are performed on 100% of the data during trials.\u201d And continues to mention, \u201cWell-executed RBM practices reduce the likelihood of errors created during clinical trials, improve overall safety of trial subjects and give greater visibility into clinical trial operations, which can accelerate timelines and improve overall quality.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\nIn the third category where eClinical Solutions was named a Sample Vendor, Gartner defines clinical trial resource management systems as \u201cthe technology capabilities used to manage the resources of a clinical trial, such as investigative sites, contract research organizations (CROs), clinical study staff, supplies, relationships and patients.\u201d Gartner also reports that \u201csophisticated clinical trial resource management is essential to ensuring the efficient use of resources, management of relationships and closure on financial compensation to participating clinical research organizations (CROs), investigative sites and patients.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
