HILLSDALE, Mich.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Academy for Science and Freedom at Hillsdale College has released a statement entitled \u201cEthical Principles of Public Health.\u201d The statement, coauthored by a dozen prominent medical science, public health, and biomedical ethics experts from around the world, outlines the necessary conditions for a humane and effective response to a national public health crisis.\n<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\u201cThe response to the COVID-19 pandemic was a tragedy,\u201d said Scott W. Atlas, a founding fellow at Hillsdale\u2019s Academy for Science and Freedom. \u201cNot only was the response ineffective; it also revealed how quickly the ruling class and scientific experts were willing to throw away the freedoms that define the American way of life.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
