HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Isikel, a leading manufacturer and distributor of medical supplies, announced today that the company ranked #3 on the Houston Business Journal\u2019s Fast 100 and Innovation list. This is the first time Isikel has been ranked in the HBJ Fast 100 and Innovation list since the company was founded in 2016.\n<\/p>\n

\n\u201cAfter successfully making our pivot into the medical supply industry at the start of the pandemic, it\u2019s great to see this type of growth and recognition of our work,\u201d said Valerie Vickrey, chief executive officer and co-founder of Isikel. \u201cWe have really found our niche in the industry over recent years and the success will soon lead us to begin manufacturing critical medical supplies. \nThis news comes on the heels of securing a 196,000-square-foot facility in Katy, where the company plans to begin manufacturing nitrile gloves in fall 2022. Once fully operational, the site will have the capacity to produce nearly 440 million nitrile gloves per year, followed by the production of saline solutions in the months after.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe 2022 Fast 100 List is ranked by revenue growth from 2019 to 2021. To qualify for the Fast 100, companies on The List must meet the following criteria: be headquartered in the Houston area, be for-profit and privately held, have been in operation for at least five full fiscal years and have earned at least $1 million in revenue in the latest fiscal year.\n<\/p>\n
