LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–HistoWiz, a leading provider of digital histopathology services to academia, biotech and pharma, announced today that Linh Hoang, MD, PhD has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors.\n<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

\nDr. Hoang is joining HistoWiz from Weavr Health, where he served as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Prior to Weavr, Linh served as Vice President and General Manager of Reproductive Health Diagnostics at PerkinElmer. He has also held numerous leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, including General Manager of the clinical controls and standards business and Director for Life Technologies\u2019 personalized medicine initiatives. He was previously a consultant at Boston Consulting Group. Linh received his medical and doctoral degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a bachelor\u2019s in biochemistry from the University of Florida.\n<\/p>\n
