\nRaising $9.25M to date, Guaranteed\u2019s latest capital raise marks one of the largest pre-Series A rounds for a Black female solo founder.<\/i>\n<\/p>\n

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Guaranteed<\/a>, a company providing modern, end-of-life care designed with the patient and caregiver in mind, is pleased to announce it has closed a $6.5M seed round led by BrandProject<\/b>, with participation from Precursor Ventures<\/b>, Springbank Ventures<\/b>, Lakehouse Ventures<\/b>, and Cake Ventures<\/b>. Notably, 50% of the capital came from a woman- and\/or person of color-led general partner investment firm or angel investor. Additionally, 27% came specifically from Black investment dollars. Guaranteed will use the funding to scale its platform with a focus on building out its patient experience\u2014and hiring hospice and clinical care professionals, as well as engineering and marketing talent as it expands into new markets.\n<\/p>\n

\nMcGlory, 31, is a Detroit native and DePaul University graduate who previously held roles across growth, paid social, and programmatic for startups in NYC.\n<\/p>\n
