\nAlsana Partners with Project HEAL to Increase Inclusion and Access to Eating Disorder Treatment<\/i>\n<\/p>\n

ST. LOUIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Alsana<\/a>, an eating disorder recovery community and treatment provider, has partnered with Project HEAL,<\/a> a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those without financial resources get access to treatment for eating disorders. Through this partnership, Alsana will offer a residential treatment center grant to one Project HEAL recipient at its St. Louis or Birmingham locations.\n<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

\nOf the 30 million Americans who struggle with an eating disorder, fewer than 20% ever receive treatment.\n<\/p>\n

\n\u201cEating disorders are complex and do not discriminate based on background or financial status,\u201d said Heather Russo, chief clinical officer with Alsana. \u201cThat’s why we have partnered with Project HEAL to help break down the barriers that millions of Americans face when it comes to recovery.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\nProject HEAL is the largest nonprofit in the U.S. focused on prevention, treatment financing, and recovery support for people suffering with eating disorders. The organization works to increase equity and inclusion within eating disorder treatment programs for diverse communities across the nation.\n<\/p>\n
