WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–In response to continued growth and expansion, Duo Health<\/strong>, a new type of value-based medical group purpose-built to comprehensively care for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) in collaborative relationships with local providers announced the appointment of Jay Shah, MD, MBA<\/strong> as Chief Growth Officer. Dr. Shah joins Duo to lead the organization\u2019s ongoing growth and expansion as an outcomes-focused physician with more than two decades of business development and consulting experience designing, launching, and growing innovative value-based care solutions to clients transitioning from a volume to value-based payment environment.\n<\/p>\n

\nPrior to joining Duo Health, Dr. Shah most recently served as Managing Director of Growth at Babylon Health, leading the organization\u2019s rapid expansion. Shah also served as Managing Director of New Markets and Growth at ChenMed expanding the organization\u2019s footprint into several new states and markets that served low to middle income Medicare Advantage and dual-eligible seniors on a full-risk capitated basis. Dr. Shah has also served in senior leadership roles at Lumeris, GE Healthcare & xG Health Solutions and J.P. Morgan.\n<\/p>\n
