BERKELEY, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Berkeley-based precision medicine solutions provider Newomics Inc.<\/a> has announced the commercial placement of its 100th<\/sup> mass spectrometry front-end system, which has contributed to successful customer applications in the development of biotherapeutics such as Covid-19 antibodies and gene therapy, blood-based clinical diagnosis, and proteomics research.\n<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

\nThe system is made up of an ion source integrated with breakthrough silicon microfluidic chips including M3 emitters and MEA chips. System models include the MnESI system<\/a> with M3 emitters launched in November 2020, and the DuoESI system<\/a> with M3 emitters and MEA chips launched in June 2022.\n<\/p>\n

\nSystem performance has been validated by 8 customers\u2019 peer-reviewed papers, published in key industry journals like Analytical Chemistry <\/i>and Journal of Chromatography A<\/i>.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe success of the Newomics system has led to international co-marketing partnerships with Thermo Fisher Scientific<\/a> and Bruker<\/a> and collaborations with Agilent<\/a>, Shimadzu<\/a>, and Waters<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n
