\nWalk<\/a> joins a group of seasoned home infusion experts on the NHIA board<\/a>, an industry governing body. NHIA is the leading industry association providing education, information, advocacy and resources for the nation\u2019s home and alternate site infusion provider community and the manufacturers, suppliers and service companies who support them. As a leading voice for the home infusion industry on Capitol Hill and with the Administration, NHIA advocates for the industry, ensuring that federal policy supports equitable access to the full range of home infusion therapies and related services.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe 2023-2024 Board of Directors will be installed after NHIA\u2019s Annual Conference in Washington, D.C., March 25-29, 2023. Each will serve a three-year term.\n<\/p>\n

\nWalk has been involved in the home infusion industry since 1985. Trained as a pharmacist, he has held roles of increasing responsibility at health systems, small independent infusion pharmacies and large national providers. This directly speaks to the range and depth of his experience. Walk\u2019s new appointment marks the second time he has served on the NHIA Board, the first being a four-year term from 2010-2014.\n<\/p>\n
