In the role, she will be responsible for the Foundation\u2019s overall human resources strategy, serving as a strategic advisor and business partner to senior leadership as the organization works to advance its mission and strengthen its partnership with the cystic fibrosis community.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mms.businesswire.com\/media\/20230405005135\/en\/722999\/5\/CFF_Logo.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mms.businesswire.com\/media\/20230405005135\/en\/722999\/21\/CFF_Logo.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\nMassenburg comes to the Foundation from the Association of American Medical Colleges, a nonprofit organization serving the academic medicine community. As its Chief Human Resources Officer since 2015, she has led the overall HR function for the organization\u2019s nearly 800 employees. Most recently, she established and implemented innovative strategies on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and on the future of work.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cAn outstanding strategic, innovative, and results-oriented HR leader, Yvonne is ideally suited for the role of Chief People Officer, and she will help strengthen our organization as we enter this next era in CF,\u201d said Irena Barisic, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating and Financial Officer of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. \u201cHer exceptional background building organizational culture and supporting individual staff development will help us engage and retain top talent to support our strategic priorities, foster an inclusive workplace, and ensure a rewarding employee experience at the CF Foundation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nAs Chief People Officer, Massenburg will lead a well-respected team of HR and DEI professionals, overseeing talent acquisition, talent management and development, performance management, total rewards, and employee relations and engagement. She has extensive experience leading strategic efforts in talent management, employee experience initiatives, and organizational effectiveness and design.
