(\u201cAkumin\u201d or the \u201cCompany\u201d), a leader in managed radiology and oncology services, today announced the appointment of Victoria Garcia as Chief Financial Officer, concluding the previously announced search for a successor to Juan Perez. Additionally, Paul Boothe has been named President of Mobile & Oncology at Akumin as the business brings together its mobile radiology and oncology divisions, aligning the Company\u2019s two hospital-facing service lines, and Alex Reynolds has been appointed President of Fixed Radiology.<\/p>\n

\nAll appointments announced today are effective immediately. In conjunction with today\u2019s announcement, Tom Gaston will be retiring from his role as Executive Vice President of Mobile Radiology, and Randy Woelfel will be stepping down from the Fixed Radiology business. Adam McIntosh, MD, will continue in his role as COO of Mobile, as well as his role leading Oncology within Mobile & Oncology services.<\/p>\n

\nAbout Victoria Garcia<\/b><\/p>\n

\nVictoria Garcia brings deep healthcare finance experience and a strong track record of leading transformation and growth across complex organizations. Most recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer at Dental Care Alliance (DCA) from June 2023. During her time there, she modernized financial operations through a technology-driven approach that supported both clinical and operational goals. Victoria has also held senior finance roles at North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA), American Anesthesiology, and Mednax. With expertise in strategy, systems, and healthcare operations, Victoria is well positioned to help strengthen Akumin\u2019s financial foundation and support its long-term growth. Victoria holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in finance and a master\u2019s degree in business administration from Florida International University.<\/p>\n

\nAbout<\/b> Paul Boothe<\/b><\/p>\n

\nPaul brings a strong operational background and a deep commitment to partnership, growth, and service excellence to Akumin. He most recently provided operational leadership at RXO in his position as President of Last Mile and Dedicated Transportation, having previously held senior roles at XPO Logistics, Ryder, and PepsiCo. Paul is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and holds executive certifications from both the Kellogg School at Northwestern University and the University of North Texas.<\/p>\n

\nAbout Alex Reynolds<\/b><\/p>\n

\nAlex Reynolds joins Akumin from Surgery Partners, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Operations for a multi-state business unit, totalling $1B in revenue. While at Surgery Partners, Alex led the integration of a multi-site acquisition, launched several de novo facilities, and built teams to support newly formed health system partnerships. Prior to joining Surgery Partners, Alex held several progressive leadership roles at Surgical Care Affiliates. He began his career in acute care operations, focused on business development initiatives and critical care service expansions. Alex holds an MBA and MHA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University.<\/p>\n
